Current Students In My Classes
- Click on the links specific to your course for insights or help with
various course-related topics. You may also want to check out some of the other parts
of the site that, while not directly applicable to your course, may be of
help to you.
Students Not In My Classes -
First check out the parts of the site that are not specific
to a course. These will give you 1) some insights into the role
of information systems in the business world, 2) some ideas about
information systems as a potential course of study, and 3) some ideas into
my teaching philosophy and general outlook (valuable stuff in determining
whether you might like to have me as an instructor or not).
Corporate Recruiters - Take a
look around and gather information about the teaching philosophy of just one
member of the Krannert School of Management and Purdue University. I'm
one of many, but I believe that the snapshot will hopefully make you eager
to see the rest of the album.
Fellow Academicians - Feel
free to browse around for methodology, teaching philosophy, and possible
resources to aid in your classroom activities. While my primary focus
is information technology, my administrative role in an undergraduate
leadership program and my focus on team-learning in the classroom broaden
the spectrum of my activities. My strong desire to aid students in
learning "beyond the book" (coupled with a strong inclination toward
altruistic service) provides for sometimes unique viewpoints on issues.
